The Promise of Dawn

We're never too late for a brand new beginning....

Although it is often said, that the only constant thing in life is change, I think we can all agree that that's not exactly accurate. Some things have stayed exactly the same since creation, one of those, is the fact of sunrise. No matter how long a day is, the sun will set. And as sure as the sun sets, a new day will break at the crack of dawn.

To catch a glimpse of the sun as it peeks out of the horizon in preparation for another 24-hours around the earth (science affirms that it is the earth that moves, but I am excused by poetic justice.), is to catch the a glimpse of the majesty of the God of all creation. It is as breath-taking as it is mysterious. Dawn holds for us the promise of hope. The promise of dreams fulfilled. A chance for a new beginning. The possibility of a future so bright!

It is this promise of dawn that we gather to celebrate. Don P turns 50, and for him, we declare it is a Golden Dawn. A future so bright! A life of impact these five decades and a look ahead to five more decades of greater impact.

We celebrate the man that you have become. We celebrate the hope that lies ahead. We love you Don P. Happy Birthday!
